Cyber Space is much like a desert.  There are those who sound the trumpet on what is important to them.  After some time, they disappear and sound another trumpet to go off in another direction.  But there are those who continue to wander, not aimlessly, but with purpose.  They are rounding up the troops becoming fishers of men.   To some, they seem like outsiders but really they are peacemakers.

Technology has given the little guy an opportunity to sound his trumpet and to voice everything from when he brushes his teeth to when he tells of some kind of disaster in his life.  The playing field is level but with that there are more and more people “doing their thing.”  The result is much more stuff for people to wade through to get the nuggets.  However, there are a few “John the Baptists” that articulate a strong message that the masses can relate to.  It’s not all about things “in da club.”  We’re getting beyond that.

The buzz word of the day is community.  Can there be community up in the clouds of the cyber world?  Definitely!  I mean, really.  There are those that live for Justin Bieber’s every last word on twitter.  They may be a little bit misguided but that’s community.

I wrote a song called “Leave the Desert.”  Maybe I was a bit misquided.

Matthew 5:9English Standard Version (ESV)

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons[a] of God.

Ever feel like your life is going in circles or that it is too monotonous or repetitive? Well, it may sound like this song. I tried to come up with something that expressed that feeling and here it is. It was recorded with a 330 Rickenbacker six string electric guitar, a Casio WK-500 keyboard, shaker and tambourine. Thanks for listening.

Waiting by More Jim Guittard

Wrote this song almost 10 years ago but lost the original recording of it. So I recorded it again tonight in 2011. On the previous version I used a Fender B-Bender guitar but I don’t have it anymore. It was stolen. Anyway, I did the best I could from memory. Previously, it was called “Station” but I think it would be better titled Waiting. I also updated the lyric to waiting for a plane instead of a train cause that’s what I’ll be doing in a few months or so when my wife finally gets to the U.S.

Going down to the station.
I’ll be waitin’ for you to come.
I’ll be pickin’ up your heavy bags.
It won’t be a drag.

I hope you’ll be glad to see me.

Checkin’ out the plane schedule.
I’ll be lookin’ for your plane to come.
I’ll be combin’ my hair for you.
It won’t be that long.

I hope you’ll be glad to see me.

Readin’ up on the newspaper.
I’ll be lookin’ for the funny section.
I’ll be watchin’ the people pass by.
It can’t be that long.

I hope you’ll be glad to see me.

Seein’ you arrive just on time.
I’ll be runnin’ to get a hug.
I’ll be thinkin’ how lucky I am.
No, it’s not a drag.

I know you’ll be glad to see me.

This is another collaboration I did with Donnie Bugden that I think turned out pretty good. I came up with the basic rhythm guitar, bass line, and keyboard line. Donnie contributed the guitar with special effect, emotional melody and lyrics for the song. I sang basically in unison to his vocal track.

Here are the lyrics:

First Descent

I am the first descent
The first to go
The last you’ll ever know
I am the first descent
The first to go
The last you’ll ever know
The longest way down
Pulling shovels from the ground
Broke down now
On the way home
You are the last descent
The last to know
The last to go
The shortest way up
Pushing picks from the sound
Get off the merry go round
I am the first descent
The first to go
The last you’ll ever know

Pounding the pavement.
Practicing in a tent.
Keeping it real.
What’s the deal?

America’s not the same.
It seems more and more lame.
I’m not giving in.
It makes my head spin.

Where’s the change?
It must be in me.
No one else will change.
I’m listening to La Grange.

No one’s gonna rescue us.
Should we just fuss and cuss?
No, better pound the pavement.
I got my shovel ready.

You’re buried underneath the America Dream.
You got no time for nothing.
Sit at your cubicle for hours and hours.
Don’t forget about your paper towers.

Pick up the phone and talk to people you don’t like.
What’s it all for? You wish you could take a hike.
No, you gotta pay off your credit cards.
And listen to all the flippin’ retards.

Go back home and you’re tired.
So you drink some coffee and get wired.
And you get in a rage
Cause you had a terrible day.

Turn on the tube for the brainwashing.
They tell ya how to feel and it really stings.
Pop open the beer let your head fill with fear.
That leads to absolutely nothing to hear

Do it all over again the next day.
Keep on in the monotonous robotic way.
When will you say, “Is it all worth this?”
Probably only after you sink to the abyss.

Go back home and you’re tired.
So you drink some coffee and get wired.
And you get in a rage
Cause you had a terrible day.

I found this guy named Sean Kraft before Christmas who has apparently been on a Hunger Strike for 45 days.

45 days???

Yes.  I do not know him personally and have really no way of knowing for sure if it is true but it is worth the media looking into at the very least.

Why is he striking?

Because of the current situation in the U.S. The Government seems to want to take more and more control and it is ever increasingly hard to have a life, liberty and to pursue happiness. Some people probably don’t feel this control because maybe they are too zonked out, distracted, playing games, basically just going around in circles in the rat race, or for other unknown causes.

So I am gonna report on him. He is demanding to talk to the “We the People Foundation” and get in touch eventually with the Continental Congress of 2009 and have a 3 minute press conference.

The mission of the We The People Foundation is:

1. To protect, preserve and enhance the unalienable rights, liberties and freedoms of the people.
2. To teach people that under our system of governance all power comes from the people and all government is limited by our written constitutions.
3. To help people become better informed about the history and meaning of every provision of the Declaration of Independence and their State and federal constitutions.
4. To help people become better informed about what is really going on in government.
5. To help people become better informed about how to confront unconstitutional and illegal behavior by those wielding power in government at all levels.
6. To institutionalize vigilance by the ordinary, nonaligned citizen-voter-taxpayers.

Sean has been posting daily on his weight change and you can read more about him at his site:

Music and art can change our World for the good. You already know how chaotic it is these days if you are awake: Swine Flu hype, G20 Riots, Vaccinations, Nuclear Standoffs, RFID chips, health care arguments, economy, Iraq War, terrorism, the New World Order, 1st amendment violations, unemployment, and the list can go on and on.

Now if we all rise up together we can push the oppressive things out of the way. I have compiled a Jamendo only playlist of artists I really like because of their honesty and musical quality. Please download at the link below and pass around. We can do this. It isn’t over and as long as we are breathing we can do something.

And here is another idea: If you can play guitar or piano, sing or write, get going and make a song about whatever you are going through. No matter what. Flood the internet with your viewpoint. Let’s not give in to the elite bullies in charge who want to manipulate, con and destroy us with their fear-mongering. These are all distractions.

if you paint or draw do that, too. Flood the internet with your world. We have more numbers behind us than those elite. They hide behind their power and wealth. Come and get going.

Make youtube videos, too and post. Do it!

Here’s the playlist:

Once upon a time there was an idiot. The idiot began to lose his mind. He forgot his name so he signed up to go to school. At school, he learned to curse, throw paper, and yell. It was fun for him. But then one day, the teacher gave him bad marks and he went home crying to his parents. His parents forgave him and he went back to school and became the class clown. As class clown, he ruled over the classroom like a king. Everyone laughed and thought well of him. But the boy, constantly needed attention. His hysteria was a cover for his sad loneliness. One day, he forgot how to laugh. He lost all purpose as did his followers. Now he lives like a slave to his own fears and stupidity. He’s come full circle and is an idiot again.

Have you ever thought that our real enemy is ourselves?  America is falling from the inside not because of terrorists or other outside forces.  Americans need to get up from their deep sleep and take our country back.

What was America built and founded on?  Why did our ancestors come here?  Have we lost our roots?

Now alot of us are all driven by a purpose of mockery:  money at all costs, prestige, sex, fame, notoriety, wealth and fortune.  I don’t think our founding fathers would want to be a part of our current culture.

What can we do?  Demand better, resist fear, greed, anxiety, and  mockery driven purposes.  Everybody is wondering.  What next?   Must I stay in this never-ending situation?  What should I do?  What does it all mean?  Does God care?  Why should I care anymore?

Get up.
