War Is Fun by More Jim Guittard

Go to Iraq, that’s where the money’s at.
Be about that – Do it stat.
You know that’s where you wanna be.

They’ve got games and fun over there; you just wait and see.
It’s like a carnival fare.
Do it, I dare.

You’ll be earning money hand over fist.
Just go ahead and enlist.
Go by faith, don’t worry about all the guns.
Don’t worry about all of the guns.

Chorus

War is fun in the desert.
They’ve got a party going on over there
In the desert.
War is fun in the desert.
So get on over there.

Count your money day by day.
Store it up and don’t forget to pray.
You’re doing good conquering all the land.
And you’re making many a grand.

Keep firing on all of the people.
They’re only poor but you’ve got the power.

Go to Iraq, that’s where the money’s at.
Be about that – do it stat.
You know that’s where you wanna be.
It’s fun there you know.

Chorus

War is fun in the desert.
There’s a party going on over there
Shoot everything that moves in the desert.
and don’t forget to get those people praying at the Mosque.

War is hell and it’s stupid.
Why are we there after ten whole years?

Enough is enough.
Get out of Iraq.
Enough is enough.
Get out of Iraq. Peace Corps.

Obama got his Nobel Peace Prize
and what has he done about it?
Wars are going on forever.
He said he would get out of Iraq
and Afghanistan, and Pakistan and all the other “Stans”.

Chorus

War is fun in the desert.
There’s a big party going on over there
In the desert.
Shoot everything that moves in the desert.
You are getting a lot of money in the desert.
It’s all worth it. You now it’s all worth it, in the desert.

Can’t make any money doing good.
All you can make money is from killing people in the desert.
That’s where it’s at.

Let’s end the stupid wars. Pass this song on!

Wrote this one in Bulgaria in 2008 while I was a Peace Corps Volunteer but it applies even more today to the current political situations. More division than I have every seen. Where is the leadership? No where to be found. Not the best sound quality.

We’ve got to preserve our health.
It is all for ourself.
People are running scared.
Just like they haven’t cared.

Some turn to the booze.
This isn’t what I choose.
Which is the way?
Certainly there’s a new day.

Chorus

We’re all in survival mode.
We carry big load.
We’re all in survival mode.
We carry big load.

Arguments and tempers flare.
This I don’t wish to bear.
There’s no point to this.
Better avoid and miss.

We live within our cave.
Wishing only to save.
Our egos cause problems.
With pride we wear our emblems.

Chorus

We’re all in survival mode.
We carry big load.
We’re all in survival mode.
We carry big load.

We make shady deals.
so we can eat our meals.
We keep up the front.
In our power hunt.

Have faith in one another.
We’re brother and sister.
Fight through the pain.
We’re all the same.

Ballad of Homeland Security

You got nothing on me.
Homeland Security.
I’m actually cool guy.
Let my wife in.

You’re such a fearful entity.
You’re stuck in the mud
You’re thinking the terrorists are all around you.
But they’re not there.

So Homeland Security.
Let my wife in.
We’re not terrorists.
You’re the only terrorist I know.

You’re putting your voice in all the Walmarts.
Telling us to be suspicious
And turn everybody in.
But I’d like to turn you in.
Cause you’re nothing but a fear monger.

Break

So, let the cool people in.
We’re better than you.
We’re not gonna settle for your crap anymore.
Just let us in.
Let us see each other.

Break

You’re so full of rage.
You were probably abused as a kid.
And that’s why you tell everybody
That there are terrorists all around you.

You’re nothing but fear.
The fear is gonna end.
We’re not gonna take it anymore.

Because you’re full of propaganda.
We’re not gonna take it anymore.
You’re not gonna be spreading your crap around,
Infecting our minds anymore.

You’re nothing but Dumb.
So let my wife in.
You know, it’s alright.
Because you’ve done it before.

So what’s the big problem?
You gotta do some research?
You haven’t done much
Because it’s been six months.

Buried Underneath The American Dream

You’re buried underneath the America Dream.
You got no time for nothing.
Sit at your cubicle for hours and hours.
Don’t forget about your paper towers.

Pick up the phone and talk to people you don’t like.
What’s it all for? You wish you could take a hike.
No, you gotta pay off your credit cards.
And listen to all the flippin’ retards.

Go back home and you’re tired.
So you drink some coffee and get wired.
And you get in a rage
Cause you had a terrible day.

Turn on the tube for the brainwashing.
They tell ya how to feel and it really stings.
Pop open the beer let your head fill with fear.
That leads to absolutely nothing to hear

Do it all over again the next day.
Keep on in the monotonous robotic way.
When will you say, “Is it all worth this?”
Probably only after you sink to the abyss.

Go back home and you’re tired.
So you drink some coffee and get wired.
And you get in a rage
Cause you had a terrible day.

Don’t Get Hung Up

The powers that be are lurking about.
Infecting us with more fear and doubt
Big Sis is on the loose
Yelling, screaming, and pushing her abuse.

Is that how it’s supposed to be?
It seems like it’s getting less free.
Or am I just crazy?
Or maybe a little lazy?

Don’t get hung up!
Don’t get tied down!
Just keep on going!
Move on ahead!

They want to lock down the country.
Why can’t the people just see?
Too busy to care?
They don’t even dare care.

Yeah, I’m a bit mad.
And a little bit sad.
No wife here
To call dear.

Don’t get hung up!
Don’t get tied down!
Just keep on going!
Move on ahead!

I skype everyday.
All I do is pray!
Move out of the freaking way!
You’ve no right to keep us apart!

What God has joined together,
Let no one separate.
You must worship the devil.
You are so evil!

Don’t get hung up!
Don’t get tied down!
Just keep on going!
Move on ahead!

I don’t wish to exaggerate!
Just wanna see my Kate!
What’s the big deal?
That’s how I feel!

Fear Is Nothing New

Rise up from the heavy sleep.
You’ve been so far into the deep.
Make the sweet noise for today.
It will carry you from the Bay.

Your confusion will disappear as you trust.
Leave your ancient fears in the dust.
They’ll be covered over in time.
Speak your heart with rhyme.

With courage, you’ll strum again.
Upload all the trash into the bin.
Set your eyes up to the sky.
Always tell yourself I’ll try.

Dark times are no more.
There awaits you an open door.
Don’t let the fear get you.

Fear is nothing new.
Fear is nothing new.
Fear is nothing new.

Your fans wait with excitement.
To see how your time has been spent.
Write again about the Tymes.
It’ll sure clear up your minds.

Fear is nothing new.
Fear is nothing new.
Fear is nothing new.
Fear is nothing new.

Independence

We hold these truths to be self-evident,
We’re all created equal,
And given by our Creator
certain unalienable rights,

life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

We hold these truths to be self-evident,
We are all created equal,
And given by our Creator
certain unalienable rights,

life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Words adapted from Declaration of Independence (I’m sure they would approve)

Listen To your Voice

Revolution is the way.
You sit and do nothing every day.
Rise up from your apathy.
Trust in what you see.

Do what you must.
Throw off the dust.
Take care for the day.
Surely you see the way.

Chorus

Listen to your voice.
This is your choice.
Listen to your voice.
This is your choice.

You can handle the unknown.
You’re not that alone.
Fight the good fight.
Resist the feelings of fright.

Chorus

Listen to your voice.
This is your choice.
Listen to your voice.
This is your choice.

Today is the day.
Get up, don’t stay.
Do you want change?
This isn’t so strange.

Revolution is the way.
You sit and do nothing every day.
Rise up from your apathy.
Trust in what you see.

Make Yourself A Vow

Losing our freedoms.
Patted down by demons.
Liberty’s on trial.
It might go out of style.

Big Sis lied to us.
She asks what’s the big fuss?
A little radiation.
It’s all good for the Nation.

You better wake up now.
Later you won’t know how.
You better wake up now.
Make yourself a vow.

Alex Jones fights the good fight.
And we are all in the right.
We’re not terrorists.
Big sis, take us off your watchlists.

You look into what I’m sayin’.
There’s no time for delayin’.
Your rights are slowly going away.
Get up, don’t stay.

You better wake up now.
Later you won’t know how.
You better wake up now.
Make yourself a vow.

TSA, you’re wrong.
I write this song.
Step aside.
Give us your pride.

You better wake up now.
Later you won’t know how.
You better wake up now.
Make yourself a vow.

Rise Up America

Rise up America.
Rise Up.
Rise Up America.

Rise Up America.

Rise Up America.
Rise.

phone goes off

Rise Up America.
Rise.
Rise Up America.
Rise.

Rise Up America.
Rise.

Rise Up America.
Rise.

Rise Up America.
Rise.
Rise Up America.
Rise.

Sit Down

January 2011 Press Conference gets out of hand about immigration. People yelling and screaming. Certainly it is a divided nation. No freedom of speech. No change Nothing. Only jokers in charge. Sound collage.

We wait the money.
Everything is not okay.

You Can Not Knock Me Down

Fight the good fight.
Don’t lose sight.
Walk in faith.

They’re gonna keep talkin’
Trash all the time.
They want to discourage you.

I don’t care
What they say.
I’m gonna keep on going.

Chorus

You can not knock me down.
You can keep talkin’ all your trash all you want.
It’s not gonna bring me down.

Talk all your fear.
The end is not so near.
Why do you act like a stuck deer?

Keep feedin’ your hysteria.
Eats ya like malaria.
And that ain’t so very good.
(I’m tellin’ ya quit it)

Chorus

You can not knock me down.
You can keep talkin’ all your trash all you want.
It’s not gonna bring me down.
You can keep talkin’ all your trash all you want.
It’s not gonna bring me down.

Where’s the hope?
We’ve been taught to believe.
Guess you’ve been washed by the soap.
(That’s right. A lot of brainwashing going around.
Stop watching the stupid tube. I’m tellin’ ya. Quit)

Chorus

You can not knock me down.
You can keep talkin’ all your trash all you want.
It’s not gonna bring me down.
You can keep talkin’ all your trash all you want.
It’s not gonna bring me down.

It’s not your fault
I’m tellin ya.
It’s not your fault.
But they wanna tell it’s your fault.
You’re not
A stupid person.
